The city’s top chefs gather on May 31 to celebrate the BC Spot Prawn season. During this time, you’ll have the opportunity to buy live, locally sourced, and sustainable prawns direct off the dock. Get your catch daily from 1pm onwards at the False Creek Fishermen’s Wharf (just west of Granville Island).

Spot prawn brunch

Tickets for the spot prawn brunch are $85 plus taxes each. There are two services: 11:30am-1:00pm OR 1:30pm-3:00pm.  It is an outdoor event, served rain or shine.

This gets you:

  • Six BC Spot Prawns  dishes created by local chef talent, a sweet treat and sampling of alcoholic and non-alcoholic  BC craft beverages.

Chowder 

Tickets for the spot prawn chowder are $12 plus taxes each in advanced tickets ($15 at wharf). There are a number of service times from 11:00am-2:30pm.  It is an outdoor event, served rain or shine.

This gets you:

  • 8 oz of Prawn & Seafood Chowder + a Bun

If you’re not attending the Spot Prawn Brunch, you can still enjoy the rest of the Spot Prawn Festival for free!

Spot prawn cooking demos

Learn how to enjoy spot prawns at home from six of Vancouver’s top chefs. Chefs will be on stage for cooking demos between 11am and 2pm. Mingle with your favourite chefs on festival day!
