The festival’s feature event is the Spot Prawn Boil. Enjoy a plate of fresh-off-the-boat BC spot prawns, your choice of sides and Terra breads, and pours from our coffee, beer, and wine festival sponsors.
Six of Vancouver’s top chefs will be on stage to show you how to cook spot prawns at home.
Bring cash and get to the dock early to catch the Organic Ocean and her catch of live BC spot prawns. The boat docks at False Creek Fisherman’s Wharf around noon on festival day and between noon and 2pm for the remainder of the spot prawn season.
Restaurants across the Lower Mainland will put on special menus throughout the short spot prawn season. We’ll feature what our chef members are creating in their kitchens.
